Recommended Steps For SSL Certificates

Renewing an SSL Certificate is usually the same procedure as obtaining a new certificate, with the added benefit of receiving special renewal prices and bonuses.

We recommend generating a new CSR and Private Key. Where possible avoid using an existing CSR as this will ensure the private key will match the certificate that is issued.

Internet Information Server (IIS) customers should NOT use the "Renew SSL Certificate" option within IIS unless renewing a True BusinessID product. This is due to limitations of the IIS renewal procedure which may cause errors.

Once you have generated your new CSR you can access the online ordering system by Clicking Here and proceeding to the renewal options.

Which Products Can Be Renewed

You do not have to be an existing customer. If you have purchased your certificate with another GeoTrust provider, and it is due for renewal, we allow you to utilise our renewal benefits for the products below. Our system will automatically check if you have one of the GeoTrust products below.

If the product you wish to renew is not listed you may need to complete a new online application. Please Contact Us if you require further assistance.

Renewal Pricing Structure
